All our members ages 12 to 18 automatically belong to our eXtreme Fundz Teen Money Club. This club starts with a savings account carrying no monthly fee and a minimum balance requirement of just $5 making it affordable for every teenager. The club takes an advanced approach to financial management as the young member’s financial needs become more complex. It’s the perfect transition for graduates of our Mates Kid's Club and all teens who want to learn how to successfully handle money.

Learn It, Uze It events highlight a topic of interest to teens. Check back here for news on our next event, likely to focus on credit cards or investing which are topics you've told us you'd like to learn more about. We've already offered "How To Buy Your First Car," "Money Money Money" and "Uzing Technology Wizely" events. Topic suggestions are always welcome from club members. UnitedOne-WASHINGTON OPEN NOW for 2008-2009 school year

Our fourth year of UnitedOne-Washington at Washington Junior High School (Manitowoc) is in motion! All our eXtreme Fundz members attending Washington, plus faculty and staff there, can take care of their business right at school, making saving money easier than ever. Deposits may be made, withdrawals up to $5 per week will be allowed, and new accounts may be opened right at school during lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday school is in session. The school credit union was organized and is being run by students, with assistance and supervision from Washington and UnitedOne. Find us in the cafeteria!

To open an account, students should bring their Social Security number, address, phone, birthdate, city and state of birth, and a minimum $5 deposit. It's that easy! A receipt will be provided to show the account was opened and a deposit made.

a free checking account can be opened with just $25 (members younger than 18 must have an adult listed as joint owner on the checking account)
Internet Banking so you can check your account whenever it's convenient for you (electronic statements are available with Internet Banking)
free Visa Check Card (includes automatic ATM access)

a savings certificate may be opened with just $250 earning you even more money than savings alone
Visa student credit card (subject to approval)

Overdraft Protection for your checking account (subject to approval, apply online if you wish)
