Beyond supporting K-12 financial literacy in our communities, UnitedOne offers annual scholarship opportunities to members in good standing. Applications are available during the Spring of each year and are open to both high school seniors and those continuing their college education.
UnitedOne offers three $1,000 scholarships to its members. Two scholarships are awarded to high school seniors, including one who resides in Manitowoc County and one who resides in Sheboygan County. The third scholarship is awarded to a current college student or working adult pursuing higher education.

We’re very excited to announce Jack Bauer, Kyle Heling, and Tracy Arens as our 2026 scholarship winners! Our scholarship recipients were chosen by an independent panel, which judged applicants based on a written essay and each received $1,000 scholarships to pursue their educational goals.
We were very impressed by each student’s accomplishments and have no doubt each will go on to achieve even greater success. We would also like to thank all of our 2026 scholarship applicants for sharing their dreams!
Bauer is a senior at Manitowoc Lincoln High School. He will be attending college at UW-Whitewater to pursue a career as a financial advisor.
“I want to help people with budgeting and not be stressed with bills or loans or whatever it may be as well as helping them prepare for their future by saving money and investing,” he said.
Heling is a senior at Sheboygan South High School. He will be attending Concordia University and plans to study rehabilitation science and pursue a career as a physical therapist.
“One lesson I will carry into my future is to never commit to something without committing to the work behind it,” he said. “Whether it's a car payment or my tuition, I've learned to think beyond the excitement of the moment and consider the responsibility that follows.”
Arens, a Manitowoc resident, attends Lakeshore Technical College and is a Licensed Practical Nurse bridging to a Registered Nurse.
"Becoming a nurse was never just a career goal; it is part of who I am," she said. "Now, with clearer goals and stronger financial discipline, I am committed to finishing my RN and continuing to serve patients and families with the compassion that first led me into hospice care."
