Member ID Statement at UnitedOne Credit Union

Our membership is open to anyone living or working in Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Kewaunee and Door counties (and their immediate family members). We follow the "once a member, always a member" philosophy meaning that as long as you maintain your UnitedOne membership we can serve you, even if at some point in the future you no longer live or work here.  We look forward to helping you build financial strength throughout your lifetime.

When you stop in to open an account, please bring a valid ID, proof of your mailing address, and your social security number. There is a minimum deposit of $5.00 required for a savings account and additional $25.00 for a checking account if ordering checks.

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.  What this mean for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

If you have any questions about these procedures, please contact us.

Deposit Insurance

You can be confident that your funds at UnitedOne are safe and secure. Your funds are federally insured to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the Federal Government. IRA accounts are insured separately for an additional $250,000.

Learn more about NCUA deposit coverage and the ways you can increase your coverage by setting up multiple accounts.
