Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Statement

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) was passed by Congress in October 1998, with a requirement that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issue and enforce rules concerning children's online privacy. The primary goal of the Act and the Rule is to place parents in control over what information is collected from their children online. UnitedOne Credit Union does not knowingly collect, nor is our website designed or directed to use personal information from children under the age of 13 without obtaining verifiable consent from their parents. We do offer children's programs on our website: Youth Savings Accounts like Mates Kids Club, for children ages 0-11 and the eXtreme Fundz Teen Savings Account for teen savers ages 12-17. Unless applying for UnitedOne Credit Union membership, no information is collected from children to participate in the online activities and information found in these areas of our website.
