UnitedOne Credit Union has been named No. 3 in the “2026 Best Places to Work in Wisconsin” by the Best Companies Group.
“Being honored in this way again speaks directly to the dedication of our amazing staff,” UnitedOne CEO Kim Rooney said.? “They work tirelessly to cultivate an environment where collaboration, respect, and belonging thrive. That foundation allows us to support our employees fully and deliver exceptional experiences to our members.”
Best Companies Group has been recognizing top workplace for over 20 years, helping more than 10,000 companies worldwide celebrate what makes them special. Its “Best Places to Work” certifications are based on direct employee feedback and rigorous data analysis.
Companies from across Wisconsin entered the two-part survey process to determine “Best Places to Work in Wisconsin.” The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation.
The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the best place to work and final rankings.
The No. 3 ranking for “Best Places to Work in Wisconsin” comes on the heels of UnitedOne being recognized by Family Friendly Workplaces as a Gold Certified Employer earlier this year.
